The KBC Story

Every great story has a humble beginning and ours is no different. Kanan Baking Company (formally Wildflour Bakery) started off as a small Southern California retail store whose mission was to serve high-quality, preservative-free, kosher pareve bread products to our local communities. We quickly became a "must-visit" destination, recognized not only for our all-natural and irresistibly tasty products, but also for our contributions to our local community food banks and charities - both of which we hold near and dear to our hearts to this day.

As our philanthropic reach and products grew, we realized that we needed to share the love with a much larger audience, and Kanan Bakery Company was born. Today we stand strong and united in our mission to share our passion for creating products that facilitate togetherness and community - from our family to yours. Kanan Bakery is where great breads and great ideas, rise.

Our Mission

At Kanan Baking Company, we aim to bring life back to the term "breaking bread". Traditionally, people would get together to create meaningful connections over meals with family and friends - something that over time has been lost with our increasingly busy schedules. Our ultimate goal is to foster a sense of togetherness in everything we do. From our thoughtful baking process, to our high-quality products, community partnerships and philanthropic contributions - Kanan Bakery is a place where artisan breads, and meaningful memories are incorporated into the lives of those who matter the most.
